In most cases, direct composite veneers can be completed in a single appointment.

As we are placing a layer on the teeth, we would expect the composite veneers to remain functional and aesthetic for anywhere from 5-7 years before replacement may be required. We always advocate polishing appointments be carried out to prolong the life of the composite veneers and keep them looking lustrous and shining beautifully like natural teeth.

As with any treatment, it is important to maintain good oral hygiene, minimise dark and pigmented foods and drinks to reduce the amount of staining, and of course, avoid smoking!
