1. Disclose

A coloured liquid will be applied to your teeth using a cotton pellet this will:
- Highlight to you the disclosed biofilm and your problematic areas.
- The colour will guide biofilm removal.
2. Airlflow
Remove biofilm, stains and early calculus (tartar) using a mixture of jet water, air and a specially formulated powder to polish and clean teeth this will:
- Remove biofilm above and below the gumline.
- Remove remaining stains on the enamel.
- Removes biofilm from the gums, tongue and palate.
3. Periflow
Using a mixture of jet water, air and a specially formulated powder (as with the previous step of the airflow,) with an additional plastic tip to remove biofilm in deeper gum pockets.
4. Check
Make you smile!
- A final check will be made for any remaining biofilm.
- Ensure calculus is fully removed.
- Accurately diagnose any decay.

What is AirFlow® cleaning?
AirFlow® cleaning is a type of air polishing. Air polishing uses a mixture of water and powder, delivered under pressure and directed at the teeth to remove plaque, calculus and staining.
Does AirFlow® hurt?
No. AirFlow® or any other type of air polishing does not hurt.
How long does AirFlow® last?
The effects of stain removal could last up to 12 months. This time is reduced if you consume food and drinks that cause staining, if you use a chlorhexidine mouthwash or if you are a smoker.
What are the alternative treatments to AirFlow®?
Scaling using a traditional ultrasonic and polishing with a rubber cup with paste will also remove plaque, calculus and staining. Professional tooth whitening will lighten the colour of your teeth.
