Dr Louise McGuigan qualified in 2014 from Queen’s University Belfast with a distinction in the practice of dentistry.
After completing her foundation training year, she moved to Gransha Dental (our founding sister company) in 2015 to set up her roots working alongside her father the principal dentist.

‘Gransha felt like home. I had been running in and out of the surgery since I was a toddler in 1992. In 2018, I took over the practice after my dad passed away and through my grief, it was incredibly special to be able to follow in my dad’s footsteps and continue to build on his incredible legacy and grow the practice. The practice moved from strength to strength and with that in mind, I decided to expand this legacy and create a brand new practice, not just any practice – something unique and unseen before in Northern Ireland. After much meticulous planning, came Epic Dental based in Lisburn City Centre.

My vision is to open a practice in Lisburn to offer not just general dentistry but personal dentistry. With professionals and world-class experts delivering the best patient experience and unrivaled personalised service. We aim to create memorable and fulfilling experiences and pride ourselves in taking care of all our patients from the first initial contact and beyond.

Cosmetic Dentistry

My favourite part of dentistry is cosmetic dentistry whereby helping patients smile confidently and happily. I also enjoy treating families and children from a young age to ensure they never develop fears and enjoy their visits to the dentist.

My special interests and passions are minimally invasive dentistry, Invisalign, and cosmetic procedures. I have attended a vast array of postgraduate courses and continuously developed my skill set.

I am incredibly proud of my achievements so far in my career and I’m equally proud to be finalist in the NI Cosmetic Medicine Awards 2023 ‘ cosmetic dentist of the year’ nominated and shortlisted for the Clinical Dentistry Awards 2023 – Young Aesthetic Dentist of the Year 2023 Shortlisted for four award categories in the Irish Dentistry Awards 2023

In particular, a year-long post-graduate diploma in aesthetic dentistry – Totally Aesthetics by Monik Vasant, including Totally Composite in-depth composite courses as well, ‘Mini Smile Makeover’ with Dipesh Parmar and Enlighten, both globally recognised experts in aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry to transform every patient smile to perfection.

Also the worldwide leader in clear aligners for moving teeth – Invisalign Go, a cutting-edge worldwide leader and the most revolutionary way to orthodontically move teeth that is almost invisible. I am the most accomplished provider of this amazing treatment in Northern Ireland achieving apex status and placing me in the top 0.5% of providers in Europe.

Dentistry has moved on at an incredible rate. We are all capable of having a beautiful smile for our whole lives and I want to help you to achieve and maintain yours!’
